Your Wild are playing the Bruins tonight, uff da!
You betcha, the mood here in Minneapolis is a real mixed bag today, especially down along Nicollet Mall where everyone's grabbing their morning coffee. Folks are talking about the Minnesota Wild’s streak, or lack thereof lately, and it's got a few people feeling a bit antsy. We got that big win against Boston just last week, which gives us a little confidence, but the boys haven't exactly been on a tear, have they? It feels like we're just kinda...treading water, and that's not exactly what you want when you're looking at the playoffs.
The big chatter, if you ask me, is still around what this team needs to *really* make a run. I heard a couple of coaches at the rink over in Edina this morning, talking about how a deep playoff run would just light up youth hockey enrollment across the state. They're all hoping the Wild can find that extra gear. It’s not just about beating the Boston Bruins; it’s about showing everyone, especially the young 'uns, what Minnesota hockey is all about. This team just needs to get its groove back and play some good, consistent hockey, you know?
You betcha — Let's Play Hockey. This is Ingie Olsen-Carlson.
Oh, and for all the nitty-gritty, you gotta listen to our morning crew; they're the best. Catch 'em live at mornings.live.
