Your New Jersey Devils couldn't find a way against the Capitals
Alright, Jersey, another tough one last night against the Washington Capitals. We fell short, 2-1, down in their barn. It felt like one of those games where we were chasing it from the jump. Jesper Bratt finally put one in the net from Jack Hughes with forty-three seconds left, but by then, it was too little, too late. This team needs to figure out how to start strong and finish stronger.
This loss stings, especially since we've been on a decent run lately, 7-3-0 in our last ten. We're still sitting at 72 points, seventh in the Metropolitan Division, and that seventh wildcard spot feels a million miles away after a game like that. Every point matters right now.
