A single-storey detached dwelling, yes, just *one* house, over on 56 Inglewood Drive in Ward 1 just got a building permit approved for a cool $1,910,124. That’s not a typo, mon ami, over 1.9 million for one residential build. For a single house! It’s permit number BP 9NEW 25-9888, if you’re into the official documentation.
Now, while we’re talking about housing, there are some big-ticket development applications still making their way through the system:
* **1970 and 1980 Fowler Drive (Ward 8):** A residential apartment building. * **376, 390 Derry Rd W and 0 Oaktree Circle (Ward 11):** A townhouse development.
