Now, speaking of things being built, City Hall just issued a permit, BP 9NEW 24-5505, for a new two-storey detached dwelling with a finished basement and walkout at 865 Aviation Road in Ward 1. That's a big one, valued at $2,066,986. Just imagine getting that basement walkout finished, only for an unknown weather event to roll through. There was also a commercial permit, BP 3ALT 26-804, for $568,320 worth of interior alterations on the 2nd and 6th floors at 4701 Tahoe Boulevard in Ward 3. You can see the new construction popping up all over, from the Greenbelt-adjacent communities to the suburbs.
