The permit, BP 3ALT 26-804, is valued at a hefty $568,320. That’s a considerable investment, telling us businesses are still looking to modernize and expand within the city.
Meanwhile, a new two-storey detached dwelling in Ward 1, specifically 865 Aviation Rd, is going up with a finished basement and walkout. Permit BP 9NEW 24-5505 shows a construction value of $2,066,986. Almost 2.1 million dollars for one home – that’s the kind of residential investment that impacts our housing market, reflecting a demand for high-end properties even as we talk about affordability.
