Oh my heck, Salt Lake City is absolutely buzzing this morning, you guys! I swear, you can feel the energy all the way from the Avenues down to Sugar House. Everyone’s got that little extra pep in their step, like they just crushed a fresh run up at Snowbird. We're facing the Anaheim Ducks tonight, and with the Utah Mammoth sitting pretty in that Wildcard spot, there’s no way anyone’s checked out. I was grabbing my usual dirty chai at Publik and overheard folks talking about nothing but our penalty kill, and how they think Coach needs to give young Miller more ice time. It’s not anxiety, not really, but it’s that excited pre-game hum you get when you know something big is on the line.
The talk everywhere, from the TRAX platforms to the Capitol Hill offices, is all about the playoffs. Seriously, it's like we're already mentally planning our parade route down State Street! We're building traditions in real time here, and every win feels like a brick in our foundation. There’s such a fierce, protective pride brewing for this team, and tonight’s game against Anaheim feels like another chance to prove we belong. You can see it in every Tusks Up sticker on the back of cars, and hear it in the way everyone’s saying 'go Mammoth' when they leave the grocery store. We’re just so ready to fetch some more points tonight!
