Victoria’s New Ice Cream Czars Are Mobile

City Hall has been quietly processing a few interesting developments, as they always do. What exactly is afoot, you ask? Well, here's the thing: it seems Victoria is about to get a good deal sweeter, and perhaps a little more playful.
According to the latest business licences issued, Hazel's Ice Cream Ltd. has secured not one, but two mobile bicycle vendor licences (numbers 40784 and 40447). This means we'll likely be seeing more ice cream bikes pedaling through our streets, perhaps even surprising us on the Galloping Goose Trail. It's a charming prospect, isn't it? A bit of whimsy on wheels.
On a slightly different note, the city also just licensed Arcadia, an "Entertainment - Amusement Centre" at 707 Johnson Street (licence number 48095). One wonders what kind of amusement this might entail. Given its downtown location, it could offer a new hub for residents and visitors alike, adding a different kind of buzz to the cityscape beyond the usual float plane landings.
