What stands out in the recent business license approvals? Hazels Ice Cream Ltd. received not one, but two mobile bicycle vendor licenses (Numbers 40784 and 40447). Does this mean double the deliciousness on our bike paths, or perhaps a second location in mind? It certainly signals a sweet expansion for anyone strolling through Beacon Hill Park this summer.
But it’s not all about the treats. A new entertainment spot called Arcadia is setting up shop at 707 Johnson Street, bringing an amusement centre to the downtown core (License #48095). And for our furry, four-legged residents, the Downtown Veterinary Clinic has opened its doors at 736 Caledonia Avenue (License #22734). It’s a good sign, isn't it, to see these kinds of businesses choosing Victoria?
