Your city is about to get more amusement.
Good morning from the island — we're still here, the orcas were spotted at Active Pass, and honestly, life is fine. Well, here's the thing about what's been happening at City Hall.
It seems the entertainment landscape on Johnson Street is about to get a bit livelier. Arcadia, an amusement centre, just secured a new business licence (Number 48095) for its spot at 707 Johnson Street. Is this a sign of Victoria embracing a little more fun? One does wonder. It certainly suggests an appetite for indoor activities, especially as the autumn mists begin to roll in off the harbour.
And speaking of rolling, keep an eye out for Hazels Ice Cream LTD. They've picked up *two* new mobile bicycle vendor licences (40784 and 40447). You'll be spotting them all over Victoria, which is rather delightful, isn't it? Perhaps pedalling around Beacon Hill Park, or maybe even down to James Bay.
What does this mean for us? More local businesses finding their footing, and perhaps a bit more joy on two wheels. It’s always good to see the pulse of commerce beating, even in the quiet corners of the city.
