Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) is currently on the scene of a hazmat incident in the St. Vital Perimeter South neighbourhood. According to our civic intelligence monitors, the incident, logged as 2026090616, began at 8:18:59 AM today, June 11, 2026. Engine 27 is the unit responding to this "Fire Rescue - Hazmat" call in the St. Norbert - Seine River ward. No further details are available yet on the nature of the hazardous materials or any potential risks to residents, hey, but we'll be watching this closely.
