Your Boston Bruins play tonight. It’s gonna be a good one.
Alright, so the Minnesota Wild are in town tonight at the TD Gahden, puck drops at five. We're comin' off a win against the Flyers, which was a nice rebound after that shoot-out loss to Colorado. The Boston Bruins are sittin' in a wildcard spot right now, but every point from here on out is a wicked big deal. Minnesota, they're not exactly tearin' it up, but they got some guys who can put the puck in the net. We gotta be sharp, especially with their top line. This ain't a rivalry game like when the Habs come to town, but it's a must-win for keeping that momentum going and securing our spot.
What am I watchin' for? Our D needs to be physical, right from the first whistle. Don't let those Minnesota forwards get comfortable in our zone. And on offense, we gotta keep crashin' the net, get some dirty goals. None of that fancy stuff, just good old Lunch Pail A.C. hockey. The boys have been showin' flashes of that grit, especially in the third periods lately, but we need a full sixty minutes of it. The Gahden's gonna be rockin' tonight, you can feel it from the North End all the way out to Southie. Everyone's ready for some hard-nosed hockey.
* **Puck Drop:** 5:00 PM at TD Garden * **Opponent Focus:** Minnesota's top line can be dangerous. * **Bruins' Key:** Physical defense and crashing the net. * **Momentum:** Coming off a win, looking to build a streak.
This is a measuring stick game, kid. We need to show we can beat teams we're supposed to beat, and do it convincingly. No sloppiness. Just consistent, hard-working Boston Bruins hockey.
From the Gahden — Buh-ins hockey. This is Hanny.
