The Bruins just ain't quitting, kid.
## We Got It Done in Buffalo
Woke up this mornin' feelin' a little better, huh? The Boston Bruins took down the Buffalo Sabres 2-1 in overtime last night, a grindah of a road game. Buffalo got on the board first with Rasmus Dahlin on the power play in the first, and for a while there, it looked like we were gonna be chasing it all night. But Elias Lindholm, he ties it up in the second period, a real blue-collar goal. Then, in overtime, it’s David Pastrnak, with Hampus Lindholm gettin' the apple. He buries it. That’s how you get two points. They only had 29 shots on goal, the Bruins did, but sometimes you just gotta find a way to win.
* Buffalo’s Dahlin scores early on the power play. * Elias Lindholm ties it up in the second. * David Pastrnak wins it in overtime. * Jeremy Swayman stood tall with 28 saves, a real rock back there.
This win pushes the Boston Bruins to 100 points on the season, 4th in the Atlantic, but holding onto that Wildcard #1 spot. Every single point matters right now, and grabbin’ two on the road, especially in a tight one like that, is huge. We're on a win streak, 5-3-2 in the last ten, which isn't exactly the Lunch Pail A.C. form we wanna see, but it’s a win. With the season windin' down, every game feels like a playoff game. This team, they know what's at stake. They're not leavin' anything on the table.
The mood in Boston this mornin' feels a little like a Friday morning at the docks — tough work, but you know the weekend’s comin’ and you got somethin' to show for it. Just gotta keep grindin'.
