You’re not gonna believe how the Boston Bruins just stole that one
Wicked early start to the day, kid, after watchin' the Boston Bruins pull one out last night against the Buffalo Sabres, 4-3 in overtime. Felt like a classic grind, you know? David Pastrnak got us on the board in the first, a real snipe from a couple of new faces, Minten and Khusnutdinov. But then Buffalo’s Zucker tied it on the power play, somethin’ we gotta clean up. Arvidsson put us up again in the second, a nice piece of work from Pastrnak. We had control, then the third period hit like a blizzard on Storrow Drive. Buffalo scored twice in under a minute, Benson then Zucker again on the power play, and suddenly we’re down one with not much time left. Thought we were dead in the water, honestly.
But this team, they got some fight. Charlie Coyle, the hometown kid, got a huge goal to tie it back up at 14:00. You could feel the shift, the momentum swung right back. Then, just 38 seconds into overtime, Pavel Zacha buried it off a feed from Pastrnak and McAvoy, clinching the 4-3 win. Pastrnak was all over the ice last night, an assist on the winner and another earlier. The shots were 31-25 in our favor, but it felt a lot tighter than that. It wasn't pretty, it wasn't perfect, but the Boston Bruins found a way to win on the road.
This win is massive, kid. We’re now 40-24-8, sittin' at 88 points, still 4th in the Atlantic but solidifying that Wildcard #1 spot. Every point matters right now, and stealin’ two like that, especially after coughin’ up the lead, shows some serious grit. We’re 5-2-3 in our last ten, which ain’t bad, but we need to tighten up those third-period lapses if we wanna make a real push. This morning, Boston’s breathin' a little easier, knowin' the Bruins found a way.
